Christmas Gift Box Program
Written by Super Administrator
Friday, 20 November 2009

Christmas is the most recognized feast in the world and celebrated by all nations on our planet.  Yet, there are some people who are unable to fully participate in Christmas celebrations.  Seafarers are among them, because many are far away from home at Christmas serving the needs of the whole world.  That's why we kindly ask you to prepare and fill Christmas Boxes with gifts for sailors and we will deliver them whenever their ship arrives at Houston.  Your gifts, the Christmas Boxes you fill, go around the world, reminding the seafarers aboard ship they are truly loved, not forgotten or alone.  Share your love this Christmas with the world, with some Texas-flavored hospitality in your Christmas Boxes.  You will gladden the hearts of seafarers throughout the world and the hearts of their Angels in heaven!

2009 Hesburgh Lecture Series
Written by Super Administrator
Friday, 20 November 2009

Join us to discuss the current nationwide effort to revitalize Catholic schools. The discussion will be led by Rev. Ronald Nuzzi, the Director of The Mary Ann Remick Leadership Program. He will focus on the triumphs of Catholic education, the many challenges that face Catholic schools and plans for the next 10 years to address pressing issues. This is also a unique opportunity to visit Houston's newest Catholic high school, Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory. A tour of the school will be given at 6:30pm that evening.

This is a FREE event, and all are welcome.
