We're excited to announce Fr. Edward "Monk" Malloy, President Emeritus of Notre Dame, as our honored guest and keynote speaker for the Notre Dame Club of Houston's Universal Notre Dame Night Celebration.  Houston's UND Night is scheduled for Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the Maggiano's Little Italy banquet room, 2019 Post Oak Blvd.  Cocktails (cash bar) and the reception will begin at 6:30, with dinner to be served at 7:30.  This event was well-attended last year, and we expect it to sell out this year with Monk Malloy as our guest speaker.  Tickets are $65/person.  You may also purchase an entire table of 10 for $600, which, in addition to the discount, will assure that you and your guests can sit together (and you will be recognized for your support at dinner).

"Home Run Jesus" - the Young Alumni Softball Team - will be starting its 3rd season at Memorial Park on Sunday, February 14th.   The team plays double-headers every Sunday at the 2/3 fields near the Memorial Park Golf Course Club House.  The games are between 2:30 pm and 8:30 pm.  There will be 5 weeks of regular season games (10 games total) and 1 week of playoffs.  The dues are $30 per person and checks should be made out to the Notre Dame Club of Houston.  The dues include all softball and equipment fees as well as a team shirt.
